Sonographers

reclaim your schedule,
your autonomy, and your impact.

Why CardioRisk

Do work that actually changes outcomes.

CardioRisk Laboratories partners with medical practices to provide non-invasive vascular imaging that can detect cardiovascular disease risk early—before a heart attack or stroke occurs. Our ultrasound services are considered a gold standard for quality and convenience in cardiovascular risk assessment, giving providers and patients actionable information to change the course of disease.

If you want your skills to directly contribute to preventing life-threatening events, this is the kind of sonography work that matters.

Join CardioRisk Laboratories and use your vascular expertise to help prevent heart attacks and strokes—without nights, holidays, or endless calls.

Across the country, experienced sonographers are burning out—not because they don’t love ultrasound, but because of the conditions they’re asked to work in. If this sounds familiar, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
No call, no holidays, no nights, and rare (if ever) weekends
Autonomy and respect for your clinical judgment
Short, focused CIMT protocol with far less physical strain
Travel paid, perks you actually keep (miles, points)

What you may be dealing with now

Taking call at night and on weekends

Working holidays instead of being with family

Rotating weekends and night shifts

Feeling like your expertise isn’t appreciated by patients, doctors, or employers

Being micromanaged rather than trusted

Assembly-line schedules that prioritize volume over quality

Physically demanding exams all day, every day

At CardioRisk, we have deliberately built a different model

How CardioRisk Is Different

A sonography role designed around quality, not quantity.

What you can expect with us

No call, no holidays, no nights
Your schedule is built for predictable days, not 2 a.m. calls.

Rare (if ever) weekends
Occasional weekend events may arise, but they are the exception, not the rule.

Your expertise is valued
The physicians we partner with rely on high-quality vascular imaging and respect your skill and judgment. Their patients are engaged, compliant, and genuinely interested in their cardiovascular health.

Autonomy without isolation
You work independently in the field, but with support—not micromanagement—from the CardioRisk team.

Quality over volume
Our CIMT-based scans use a streamlined, 10-minute protocol with 15-minute time slots. The focus is on precise, reproducible imaging and clear data, not racing through overloaded schedules.

Less physical strain
Compared to many other diagnostic ultrasounds, our carotid-focused protocol is less physically demanding, helping you protect your body and your career longevity.

Healthy work environments and work–life balance
CardioRisk actively facilitates professional, respectful sites and realistic schedules so you can sustain a long-term career in sonography.

Coordinate with practice staff and providers to ensure smooth clinic flow and high-quality results

Maintain autonomy in how you organize your day while following CardioRisk quality standards and protocols
